Life...in general

Ok, so back to the whole resolution topic.  It was a rough year, 2010.  Missing family, work (we HAVE work, which is awesome but we'd both like to be doing something we LOVE), money, just all kinds of stuff.  It's just life in general.  In 2011 I will turn 40.  A huge milestone!  And I feel like I'm missing a huge part of life.  I'm living life, but I'm not LIVING life.  So how do I start?  No one is going to live it for me, no one is going to give me what I want.  I have to do what I have to do to get what I want to get.  To live the life I want to have.  But where do I start?  Nothing is going to just happen, I have to make it happen.  How?  One foot in front of the other and one day at a time.  Once I figure out what it is I want......

  1. I would say just make sure you do the things that make you happy. Like the small stuff. If money is an issue (it usually is for me) you have to make the even smaller stuff count. I think it is a change of mindset, really. I often have these huge lavish dreams that sometimes cloud my thoughts and want to make themselves a reality and then I get upset because they seem so unattainable. I have to just remember that those things can wait and that I need to make the small things (things that I CAN afford) the things that make me happy. But then again, it's not always about HAVING stuff. Maybe it's the fact that I drink my coffee every single morning without fail. I don't care where it comes from, I just know that drinking coffee makes me happy. I hope you figure out what it is you want. I know hobbies are always a good thing. Maybe try a NEW hobby if you're tired of the ones you have?

Try a lifestyle change LOL that's what Tay and I did. Everyone thinks we're crazy but I like it. You have to do what makes you happy!
